Its Belly Button Lint

Fault Line Creek SHT

Did a short little hike, about 3.5 miles from the Lax Lake Rd trailhead to the campsite on the SHT. It was a cold, wet, and windy hike.

This section has some great views and a fair amount of up and down.

A couple of random notes:

  • First time camping in the Lunar Solo and it worked pretty well. Was glad I seam sealed it well as it rained a ton.

  • The Nano Firebox stove was great. It ended up being so wet that i had to use the trangia alcohol stove in it to grill the steak and boil water the next day for coffee.

  • Winnie did awesome! She had fun and then more or less snuggled in next to me in the tent. Stayed warm as i packed in a bag and pad for her.

  • The wind was HOWLING, so loud that i dont think either of us really slept well.

  • I need to map out how many sections of the trail I have left to hike now.
